SMD Magazines
SMD component tape magazine suite to help handling and storing SMD components.
Dependencies
Following parts have the following dependencies, all files that are not mentioned here do not have external dependencies.
- Thread Bit: BOSL2
Required Parts
For the magazines itself additional parts are needed. Here are some recommendations.
SMD Magazines
Screws
To screw the lid to the body four screws are needed. Metric screws are not ideal for this purpose, but they are working really well here. If suitable self-tapping screws are available, use those. Alternatively universal screws for wood work really fine as well. The same screws can also be used for the rail.
- M2.5 x 6mm countersunk head screws
- 2x10 universal countersunk head screw for wood
Spring
To keep the slider shut a spring with roughly the following dimensions is needed.
- Wire diameter: 0.3 - 0.4mm
- Outer diameter: 4mm
- Length: 20mm
Rail
Screws
The same screws as for the SMD Magazines can be used.
Rod (Optional)
Cheap 8mm and 12mm steel rods can be used to add additional weight to the rails.
Rubber Feet (Optional)
For better stability and slip resistance rubber feet can be attached to the rail.
- Diameter: 6mm
- Height: 2 - 3mm
